Swedisch Mauser M96 project.
Convert the straight bolt lever to an angled bolt lever suitable for mounting a rifle scope.
Since the bolt is hardened, it is almost impossible to bend it without damaging the bolt body in the process.
The proces of bending would also make the bolt lever too short.
This made it necessary to grind the lever through, lengthen it and reconnect it at the correct angle.
The connection is made by a hardened nipple/pin which serves as a reinforcement and joins all parts with a pressed pin/hole connection.
Then all connections are laser welded and manually reworked and polished.
Furthermore, an original Akah mount is mounted on this Mauser.
For this the wood had to be milled out deeper so that the mountbase can be mounted at the correct height on the action.
